Just a little about me.....
Hi, my name is Misty and I am a MOM. Sounds like the opening to a 12 stepper meeting I know, but its just one of many titles I hold. Its the one I am most proud of though. I have a bright and beautiful little girl, and 11 of the most spoiled rotten fur babies you will ever meet. I've always had animals and brought home anything I found as a kid. Funny, I'm still doing that today! I always have something here I have rescued or trying to save it seems. I also foster for the local shelter, when I have the room. My little guys are my loves. They are my shadows and are under foot all day. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to not have them here. Maybe more room in my bed at night, or more space on the recliner when I'm watching TV, but I don't think I would change a thing. They are my constants and love me when I'm unlovable. They never think I'm wrong and don't care if I stay in my jammies all day. What more could you ask for?? I have a few litters a year, and have off and on for over 20 yrs. I use the lil money I make to go back into my vet bills, food and general care of my babies plus into the cost of the fosters and rescues and their bills. One day I'll win the lottery! My husband has grand plans for trucks and boats and I have a dream of a huge farm with staff for all the critters who are broken and unloved. For the seniors who were left behind and the babies who were unwanted, they will have a furever home with me. A girl can dream, right??

RIP My sweet sweet Matai. My constant companion and best friend for almost 16 yrs.
My pride and Joy!! This is Matai the wonder dog!! She was my 15 yr old German shepherd to whom I have traveled to and from hell with. My husband bought her for me when we started dating. In 2004 a monster walked in my back yard and had her sit and put a shotgun on her face and pulled the trigger. 2 years of putting her back together, surgeries and feeding her thru a tube and she never gave up. A true fighter. Never changed who she was. Still loved everyone and you would never have known half her face had been blasted off to look at her. She was my miracle and my best friend!! On a side note she lived another 12 yrs and out lived the POS monster who shot her and the sheriff who he was best friends with that would not arrest him!! LiL Man had to jump in the picture as well.
